ALPHARETTA, GA—Business owners Amy and Wendell McCleary are proud to announce the Grand Opening of their first Kid to Kid store on Thursday, June 26th at 4:00 pm. To celebrate, a ribbon-cutting ceremony sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce will take place shortly before doors open for business at 11770 Haynes Bridge Road, Ste 601, in Alpharetta.

For several weeks, the Alpharetta Kid to Kid has been filling their store by paying customers for their gently used items. After the Grand Opening, customers will be able to shop for new and like-new children’s and maternity items up to 70 percent less than retail prices.

The Kid to Kid franchise buys and sells new and like-new children’s and maternity clothes, toys, books, and baby gear. After the Grand Opening event, the store will continue to pay customers cash on the spot or 25 percent more in store credit for their gently used items.

Relocated from the Washington D.C. area, Amy and Wendell have several years of experience in the business, technology and social work industries. Amy’s background includes experience as a licensed social worker as well as a foster care and adoption social worker. She also has her own successful eBay business selling children’s and women’s clothing and accessories. Wendell has extensive experience in Information Technology and is currently Lead Systems Engineer at Rogers Electric; a national electrical service and lighting contractor.

“After our daughter was born, my perspective on my profession began to change and I wanted to be able to spend more time with my family,” said Amy. “That’s when I discovered Kid to Kid and it soon became my favorite place to shop. I was attracted to their franchise model and decided that I would like to own my own store. Both Wendell and I are very excited to be opening our first Kid to Kid!”
